Yael Barlev
Yael Barlev is a multidisciplinary artist who connects to work that combines art with craft. Her work deals with the tension between the materiality of the image and its meaning: while her working methods evoke a feeling of delicacy and innocence, the content expressed through them is as if taken from dark nightmares.
She holds a graduate diploma in arts from Western Galilee College (2004) and a post-graduate diploma in arts from Oranim Academic College (2006).
She exhibited on solo exhibitions at the Art Center Gallery in Ma'alot (2022), at the Foyer Gallery in Kibbutz Mahanaim (2021), at the Omer Tirosh Gallery in Old Jaffa (2019), at the Edge Gallery in Nahariya (2013), as well as in several group exhibitions, among them at the Yavneh Art Workshop (2020), at the Fengxian Museum in Shanghai, China (2019), at the Municipal Gallery in Rishon Lezion (2017) and at the Petah Tikva Art Museum (2008).
